Louise Alexander Self, 86, of David's Chapel Church Road, Lawndale, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation Center in Cherryville.

Mrs. Self was born on January 21, 1940, in Cleveland County, to the late William Edward Alexander and Mary Ruth Alexander. She was retired as the owner and operator of Self's Florist and was a member of David's Chapel Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, J.D. Alexander and Bobby Alexander and a sister, Beulah Self.

Mrs. Self is survived by her husband of seventy years, Coy Leroy Self; two sons, Ricky Self and wife, Susan of Lawndale and Mark Self and wife, Lynn of Lawndale; three sisters, Della Williams of Cherryville, Brenda Houser of Fallston and Carolyn Ward of Boiling Springs; four grandchildren, Adrian Cloninger, Eric Self and wife Chelsea, Melissa Self and Matthew Self and wife Yolanda and five great-grandchildren, Aniston Cloninger, Harper Cloninger, Maddex Self, Ella Self and Hadley Self.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at David's Chapel Church.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 4:00pm at David's Chapel Church with Rev. James Macey and Rev. Forrestene Sain officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
