Margaret Ann “Sissy” Weaver



Ms. Margaret Ann “Sissy” Weaver, 53, died Thurs., July 25, 2013, at her home.  A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late D.L. Cook and Martha Branton Cook of Durham.  She was employed with Red Bridges Barbeque.  Ann loved her granddaughters and spending time with her family.

 

PRECEDED: In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Stafford; and grandmother, Pauline Branton.

 

SURVIVED:  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca Butler and husband Ian of Shelby; sister, Wanda Stafford of Shelby; three brothers, Gregory Cook and wife Angela of Tenn., Brian Cook and partner Bobby Stone of Durham, and David Cook and fiancée Tracy Stevens of Kings Mountain; two granddaughters, Caitlyn and Logan Butler of Shelby; and boyfriend, Richard “Buster” Penley of the home.

 

SERVICES:  Sunday, 2PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

 

VISITATION:  The family will receive friends Saturday, 6-8PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home of her daughter, Rebecca, 139 Camille Dr., Shelby
