 Mrs. Margaret B. Rayfield, 81, resident of 104 Dover Ave., Kings Mountain, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Services were held at Eastside Baptist Church. Burial followed in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC. 

Mrs. Rayfield was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie M. Bridges and Ruth Bobbitt Bridges; and 1 brother, Bobby Bridges.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jack Rayfield of Kings Mtn., NC; 1 son, Larry K. Rayfield and wife Deborah of Kings Mtn., NC; 2 daughters, Sandra R. Smith and husband Lanny of Morganton, NC, and Nancy R. Hoyle and husband Michael of Kings Mtn., NC; 2 sisters, Betty Conner of Kings Mtn., NC and Carol Gantt of Houston, TX; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
