Ms. Marianne Mitchell, 47, of 397 Seattle St. Apt. 5D Shelby, NC departed this life on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby. She was born on December 2, 1965 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Oscar, Jr. and Cora Freeman Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 4:30 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel with Bishop James Wiley, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 4:30 PM at the chapel on Friday and at other times at the home of her sister, Sheila Dotson, 823 Frederick St. Shelby.  Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloes.net.  Enloe Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
