Mark Ennis Johnson, 56, of Mt. Holly, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026.

He was born March 17, 1970 in the Republic of Philippines to the late Ennis Hartwell Johnson and Gaynell West Johnson.

Mark retired from Hendricks Audi in Huntersville as an automotive salesman after more than ten years of service. He was a graduate of Shelby High School, class of 1988 and received his Bachelor Degree in Business from Western Carolina University. Mark loved riding motorcycles, and could also be found spending time by the pool, flying his drones, and playing video games. He loved to travel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Kloosterman.

Survivors are his beloved wife, Stephanie Johnson; a son, Brandon Johnson and his girlfriend, Katie; stepdaughter, Jessica Plascencia and husband Oscar; and granddaughter, Emi "Teeny" Plascencia. He is also survived by his extended family which includes his cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The service will be held by the graveside at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 21, 2026 in the Cleveland Memorial Park with Reverend Richard Stroup officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services.
