Marsha Gail Lester, 78, of Kings Mountain, passed away February 19, 2025, at Atrium Health Cleveland surrounded by her dear friends.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph Hanline, Sr. and Blondell Moser Hanline.

She enjoyed a 20-year career with Hertz in Charlotte (her hometown) later in Atlanta and Chicago, thoroughly enjoying every minute of it. She will be remembered for her immense love of all animals, especially dogs and cats. She had the best sense of humor, proudly laughing at her reputation of being a "seasoned" shopper and loved all shades of the color purple. Marsha was one of the most generous souls you would ever meet. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Lester.

She is survived by her brother, Ralph Hanline, Jr. and her beloved friend of over 63 years, Sandy (Queen) Harman.

A private inurnment service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Charlotte, NC where Marsha will be laid to rest alongside her parents.
