Martha Hester Blanton 82 passed away at her home Tuesday August 29th with her beloved pets Munkee, Lexus and Jorge by her side.

She was the daughter of the late Harry and Lena Fraser Hester.

She is survived by her children, Anita & Hugh Austell, Michael & DeAn Blanton, David & Amy Blanton; grandchildren, Christy & Alan Justice, Nicole Blanton, Becky & Brad Piercy, Robby & Casey Austell, Todd Blanton & Jessica Beebe, Kelsey & Erin Blanton, Mckenzie Blanton, Tyson Blanton, Bryce & Anna Blanton, Rachel & Nate Plummer; great grandchildren, Michael Easler, Alicia Easler, Amy Easler and fiancé, Jaysen Wright, David Justice, Marshall Justice, Kaito Plummer, Evie Beebe and Harrison Austell. Also left to cherish her memory are four great great grandchildren, Sophia Rametta, Jaymes Wright, Delilah and Caroline Easler; sisters and brothers in laws, Mildred and Tommy Owens, Margie Hardin, Max and Mary Blanton, Jo Hester, Buena Hester, and many nieces and nephew that she cherished.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Andrew Blanton Jr. and son, Dan A. Blanton. She also leaves behind her sisters, Evelyn Chris Walker, Sara Bridges and her brothers, Wallace Hester, Charles Hester, Hoyt Hester and brother-in law, Alan Hardin.

To honor the life of Mrs. Martha Blanton a funeral service will be held Friday, September 1st at 10 o'clock in the morning, in the sanctuary of New Hope Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Russ Bradley. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will take place privately in the church cemetery.
