Mary Edna Harrison, age 84, of Crawley Drive, Forest City, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Born March 27, 1934 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Abraham Daves and Moddie Ramsey Daves. She was a graduate of Cliffside High School, class of 1952 and a dedicated homemaker and caregiver. Mary was a member of Cliffside Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Bobby Harrison.

Those left to cherish her memory include, son, Rodney Harrison and wife, Kim of Cliffside; daughter, Rhonda Sullivan and husband, Dale of Henrietta; sister, Linda Whitlock of Danieltown community; four grandchildren, Brent Sullivan (Beverly), Corey Sullivan (Brittany), Brian Wood, Hollis Wood and eight great-grandchildren, Tandler Russell, Payttan Sullivan, Emersyn Sullivan, Theodore Lavender, Travis Wood, Katelyn Wood, Brian Smith, Hunter Wood and a number of special nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Cliffside Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Elgin officiating. Interment followed in Cliffside Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
