Mary Lois (Laughridge) Miller, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2019 at
the age of 96.

She lived her final years with her daughter and son-in-law, Lois and David
Whisnant of Delight, where she enjoyed the close proximity to her
granddaughter and great grandchildren, the loves of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Marie Smith
Laughridge; her husband, L.M. (Cap) Miller; two brothers, John Mack (Bonton)
Laughridge and M.S. (Jim) Laughridge and an infant sister, Nancy.

She is survived by her daughters, Susie M. Miller and husband, Mark Gadbury;
Lois Miller Whisnant and husband, David Whisnant; granddaughter, Maggie
Trees Souders and husband, Robert Souders. Mrs. Miller is also survived by
her precious great-grandchildren, Taylor, Chyanne and Luke that were the joy
of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas O. Laughridge who
presently lives in Colorado. Mrs. Miller has many nieces and nephews, some
whom she was privileged to have visit her over the past month.

A simple Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, January
28, 2019 at her beloved First Presbyterian Church, 79 Academy Street,
Marion, NC. It will be officiated by her niece, Reverend Mary Louise Sitton
of Blountville, Tenn.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to Hospice Cleveland County, 951
Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby NC 28150 or to the Hospice program in your
area.
