Mrs. Mary Margaret McDaniel, 65, of Shelby, NC, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011. Services were held at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park. 

Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by her husband, John David McDaniel, Sr.; her parents, Curtis Elmer Deskin and Ocie Williams Deskin; and 1 sister, Evelyn Ledbetter.

She is survived by 2 sons, Curtis McDaniel and John David McDaniel, Jr. both of Shelby; 1 daughter, Angela Regalado of Shelby; 2 brothers, Jesse Deskin and Robert Deskin, both of Patterson Springs, NC; 1 sister, Sue Pearson of Shelby; and 5 grandchildren.
