 Mr. Matthew William “Matt” Bridges, 31, of Rountree Road, Grover, NC, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010. Services were held at Sandy Run Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur Lee and Corrine Dedmon Putnam and Edwin and Evelena Warren Bridges.

He is survived by his wife, Katy Rountree Bridges; his parents, Eddie Warren and Brenda Putnam Bridges of Mooresboro, NC; 2 daughters, Lily Katherine Bridges and Nora Lee Bridges, both of the home; 2 sisters, Jessica Lee Bridges Weaver and husband William of Benson, NC, and Ginger Marie Bridges Jackson and husband Andrew of Lattimore, NC; 1 niece; several aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Farris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
