Mattie Lee McNeilly Hudson, 93, of Moriah Church Road, Casar, passed away
Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her home.

Born on October 14, 1924, in Cleveland County she was a daughter of the late
John Pinkney McNeilly and Georgia Smith McNeilly. She was retired from
Western Carolina Center in the Hemlock College as a supervisor. Mrs. Hudson
was also a member of Corinth Baptist Church, Casar.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev.
Lero Hudson; son-in-law, John David Hull; grandson, David Hull; and brother,
J.J. "Junior" McNeilly.

She is survived by her son Harold Hudson and wife, Joan of Shelby; daughter,
Dorothy Ann Hull of Casar; four grandchildren, Paul Hudson and wife Reida of
Shelby, Amy Hudson of Shelby, Michael Hull and wife Libby of Vale, and Robin
Hull of Casar; five great grandchildren, Alan Hull and wife Summer, Ashley
Hull, Mark Hull and wife Katie, Dillon Hull and Mattie Lynn Hudson; five
great-great grandchildren, Rose Hull, Alana Hull, Alexis Clinton, Emma Hull,
Daisy Leeanne Hull; granddaughter-in-law, Teresa Hull; and sister, Anabelle
McNeilly Ledford of Casar.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral service will be held on Monday at 3:00 PM in the Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Goins and Rev. Jerry Ruppe
officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.
