Maybelle Riddle Manley, 70, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 21, 2025 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. Born May 21, 1955 in Waynesville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lester Dean Riddle and Mary Magdalene Messer. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Louis Ross Manley, her great-grandchild Roman Fletcher, her brothers Jerry Riddle and Jim Riddle and her sisters Evelyn Riddle Woody, Margie Riddle Truesdale, and Norma Riddle Welch. She was a former attendee of Liberty Baptist Church in Waynesville. May was skilled at all types of crafting and an excellent cook. She enjoyed country music and thrilled at movies and television shows that featured the paranormal. May was a dedicated wife to her late husband Louis and loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart and soul.

Brothers: Johnny Riddle of Waynesville, and Jack Riddle and Joe Riddle, both of Idaho
Sisters: Sheila Bridges (John) and Annette Burton (Rodney), all of Shelby, NC
Grandchildren: Alisha Fletcher, Alyssa Owensby (Alex), Tyler Fletcher (Jessica), Ashley Johnson (Joel Jones), Jessica Short, Melody Short, Morgan McKee, and Nathan McKee
Great-grandchildren: Zadie Fletcher, Layton Fletcher, Lillian Edwards, Samuel Arrowood, Sebastian Catalan, Kison Rogers, Elijah Rogers, Melody Grace Rogers, Jensen Rogers, Owen Stroup, Evalyn Johnson, Vylotte Johnson, and Oakley Cook

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, November 24, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel

VISITATION: Monday, November 24, 2025 prior to the service from 2:00 to 2:50 P.M. in the Parlor of Harris Funeral Home
