Michael Howard Goode
Michael Howard Goode, 57, of 5414 East Hwy 27, Iron Station, NC, formerly of Cherryville, died January 13, 2015 at Carolina Medical Center Charlotte. He was born on Jan. 12, 1958 in Cleveland Co., a son of Lillian Abernathy Goode of iron Station and the late James Allen Goode. He was employed at North Carolina spinning in Lincolnton.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a brother Jerry Allen Goode and a sister Lisa Goode Moody.
He is survived by his mother Lillian Goode, children Amanda Truesdale, Waco, Tabitha Goode, Lenoir, Brian Truesdale, Vale, Lance Goode, Waco and Chase Goode, Lenoir, nine grandchildren, brothers Ronnie Abernathy, Cherryville, and Jamie Goode, Iron Station sister Barbara Brackett, Lincolnton.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at noon at Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 11-11:45 AM and at other times at the home.
