Mickey Guy Walker, 75, passed away on Sunday, July 7th, 2024, at his residence.

Affectionately known as "Cuz" and "Uncle Mic-Mic," he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine McDaniel Walker. Mickey retired from Duke Energy, was an honorary member of CKC Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He spent a lot of time outdoors, mostly fishing. He loved his children and grandchildren and was very close to his family and friends. Cuz lived a care-free life, but was "foot to the floor" in the fastest cars he could find.

Surviving Mickey are his children, Michael Walker (Amanda) and Brandy Walker McBee (David); his brother, Joe Walker (Pam); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by his sister, Rachel Phillips, and his brother, Manson Walker.

Graveside services will be Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:00 am at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Bolin officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the Hopewell Family Life Center. Clay Greer, Matt Walker, Rick Farris, Brandon Carroll, Coon Hardin, Matt Cash will serve as pallbearers. Gary Carroll and Bill Ramsey will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence of Michael and Amanda Walker, 921 Old Chester Road, Blacksburg, SC.
