 Mrs. Mildred “Mimi” Dover, 97, of Shelby, NC, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010. Services were held at Sharon United Methodist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Mrs. Dover was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dover; her parents, Robert Moss and Effie Moss; 5 brothers, Roy Moss, Olin Moss, Forrest Moss, Edward Moss, and Robert Moss; and 3 sisters, Viola Sheilds, Lois Stokes, and Dot Glasco.

She is survived by 1 sister, Mary Ellen Wilson of Shelby; 1 sister-in-law, Nancy Moss of Shelby; and a number of nieces, nephews, a great niece and a great nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Sharon United Methodist Church, 871 College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152.
