Mildred Mull Rhoney
Mildred Mull Rhoney, 97 of Vale passed away, Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Carolina Caring Sherrills Ford Hospice House.
Born August 22, 1921 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Sanford Mull and Mary Tallent Mull. Her and her husband owned Pride of South Mountain Egg Service. When they retired, they started Bass Capital Mobile Park in Crescent City, Florida. Mrs. Rhoney loved working with her flowers and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church of Cooksville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Rhoney, Jr.; a son, David William Rhoney; three brothers, Joe Mull, Gene Mull and Tom Mull and three sisters, Muriel Sain, Argel Miller and Corine Kirby.
Survivors include a son, Steve D. Rhoney and wife, Lorraine of Vale; a daughter, Shelia Annas and husband, Richard Keith of Vale; two sisters, Iwilla Warlick of Vale and Ruth Ramsey of Pauline, SC; a brother, Houston Mull of Connelly Springs; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Vale.
A funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Sayer officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
