Mr. Milland Grigg, 82, of Shelby, passed away Monday, February 27, 2012, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, he was born March 18, 1929, the son of the late Fred and Carra Brooks Grigg.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers; Howell, Maynard, and Billy Grigg and one sister; Margie Boysworth.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Futch Grigg of the home; one son, Ron Grigg and fiancé Beth Hamrick of Shelby; three daughters, Judy Smith and husband Carter of Shelby, Betty Smith of Chesnee, SC, and Brenda Grigg of Hawaii; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and his special companion, his dog Scooter

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at his home.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Patterson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
