It is with great sadness we announce that our beloved mother, grandmother, sister-in-law and friend, Nancy Annette Clary Raley, 77, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 while at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina to the late Clarence Bryant Clary, Sr. and Ailene Brackett Clary. She is preceded in death by, Tommy Clary, Linda Black, CB Jr., and Kenneth Clary.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Chris Hoopaugh and spouse, Jessica; grandsons, Tyler Hoopaugh and spouse, Jamie, Payton Hoopaugh and spouse, Madison, Jake Frazier, and Jaden Smith and fiance', Mia Bandinelli; great-grandchildren, Landon Hoopaugh, Tracyn Hoopaugh and Xaylan Hoopaugh; brother-in-law, John Black; other family and friends.

During most of her lifetime, she was a Hair Dresser. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will truly be missed by many.

A Public Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC, 132 E. College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152 (family may not be present). Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 1106 Poplar Springs Church Road, Shelby, North Carolina 28152.
