Nancy Ellen Turner, 74, passed away on October 10, 2012 at Hospice Cleveland County Wendover.  A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Everett Carl and Edna Allison Turner.  She was also preceded in death by her brother Joe Turner.  Nancy was a CNA for Home Health.

Nancy is survived by her son; Wade Patterson; daughter Tracy Morgan and husband Charles; brother, Jack Turner and wife Carolyn; sister, Cathy Ledbetter and husband Chuck; three grandchildren, Leia Patterson Young and husband Luke and their son Dexter, Michael Lail and his wife Heather and their son Aedan, Shay Laye and her husband Keith and their son K.J.; sister-in-law, Vicki Turner; and her beloved companion, Muffy the cat.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30pm on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cleveland County Humane Society, 1609 E. Marion Street, Shelby, NC, 28150.
