Nancy Hoyle Holdsclaw, 79, of Casar, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Atrium Health Main.

Nancy was born on April 18, 1947, in Cleveland County and was the daughter of the late Paul Lafayette "Dick" Hoyle and Mattie Lee Canipe Hoyle.

She was a graduate of Gardner-Webb University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Nancy dedicated her professional life to caring for and helping others as a registered nurse and adult nurse practitioner. She later served as President and CEO of CompCare Nurse Case Management, where she remained until her retirement.

Nancy had a love for travel and enjoyed visiting places throughout the United States and around the world. She was also a member of Casar United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles David Holdsclaw.

Nancy is survived by her special cousin, Debbie Morgan and husband Brian of Casar; special friends, Ivonnelly and Jerry Linder of Denver and Pegg Harris of Valley, Alabama; and her beloved fur babies.

A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM in the Casar United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Van Spencer officiating.
