Nancy Perry Beutel, age 70, passed away peacefully on September 16th
surrounded by those who loved her at her home in Kings Mountain, NC
after a long battle with cancer.

Nancy was born on October 8, 1947, the first of five children of the
late Oliver and Mary Perry. She is survived by her husband of 39
years, William Beutel; her children, Heidi Bristow and Hans Beutel;
her three grandsons, Kallan, Keane, and Timothy; and her siblings,
Jeanette Gray, David Perry, Sarah Major, and Anita Brennan.

Nancy had many talents and passions including hospitality, playing
music, especially hymns, gardening, and decorating. Nancy was a
lifelong student and teacher, delighting in the discovery of new
things to share with others. She earned a PhD, homeschooled her two
children, and taught Spanish and writing. Most of all, Nancy loved to
study the Bible and share it with those around her.

A visitation at 1:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
is scheduled for Friday, September 21st at St. Matthew's Lutheran
Church in Kings Mountain, NC.

The family is grateful for the tender, loving care of Hospice of
Cleveland County.
