Ned Eugene Bridges, age 65, a resident of 1416 Neal Hawkins Road, Gastonia, NC died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Caromont Medical Center. Born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Clyde and Averice Eaker Bridges and his mother and father-in-law, the late Fred and Irene Wilson Collins and was preceded in death by his brother-in-laws, Larry Deaton, Edgar C. Wiggins and Dennis G. Beatty. He was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church, Kings Mountain and a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Freightliner, Gastonia, NC
