Neely Eaker, 91, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on April 13, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC.

Born in Cleveland County, NC. She was Daughter of the late Arthur Pinkney Anthony and Katie Naomi Neal Anthony. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Jack Walter Eaker; brothers Tony Reid Anthony, William Pinkney Anthony, and Robert Neal Anthony; sister Marjorie Louise Gates. She was a lifelong member of El Bethel United Methodist Church, Kings Mountain where she sang in the church choir. She was a wonderful cook and made the biscuits for the El Bethel breakfasts. She was a beautician for over 60 years and she loved to garden, sew and spend time with her grandchildren.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Kayla Bearden and husband Daniel, Kings Mountain, NC; Kaitland Wollenhaupt and husband Brandon, York, SC.

Grandchildren: Everett Eaker Bearden, Adaline Ruby Bearden, and Gray Eaker Wollenhaupt

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Tuesday April 16, 2024 at 2pm at El Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC

VISITATION: Tuesday April 16, 2024 immediately following the graveside service.

INTERMENT: El Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
