Kings Mountain - Mrs. Nettie Warlick Wright, 99, of County Line Road, passed
away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her
loving family.

Mrs. Wright was born in Cleveland County, NC on January 20, 1918 a daughter
of the late Albert Wilburn Warlick and Lillie Victoria Owens Warlick. She
was a homemaker and an active member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in
Cherryville attending faithfully until her declining health. She was a
former Sunday school teacher and involved in missions and participated in a
great number of church activities including the Young at Heart. She also
sang alto in the church choir for many years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin
P. Wright; a son, Joel W. Wright; a sister, Bertie Mae Howell and two
brothers, J.W. and Ray Warlick.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Janice Wright Beam of the
home; a daughter-in-law, Nita F. Wright of Kings Mountain; four
grandchildren, Pam Wright Farnsworth and husband Randy of Cherryville; Beth
Wright Sigmon and husband Barry of Newton; Rhonda Buff and husband, David
and Michael Beam and wife Angie both of Cherryville; seven great
grandchildren, Dustin and Brandon Farnsworth; Ashley, Katlyn and Taylor
Sigmon; Hunter Buff and Gage Beam. Also surviving are a number of nieces
and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the loving care given
by Vickie Homesley and to Hospice of Cleveland County, especially Terrie
Isaac, her nurse, Crystal and CNA's Bobbie and Gay.

Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:45PM on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Shady
Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at
Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Dale Hendricks and Robert Redding
officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
