Nora Macie Bivins Brackett, 96 of Martin Street, Lawndale passed away on
Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born February 28, 1920 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Marion Perk Bivins and Nora Marie Cook Bivins. She was retired from
Cleveland Mills and was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James
Robert Brackett; great-granddaughter, Winter Dawn Brackett and all of her
brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Barry Brackett and wife, Edith of Lawndale and
Michael Brackett of Lawndale; two grandchildren, Barry Donavan Brackett and
Robert Todd Brackett; three great-grandchildren, D.J. Brackett, Bayley
Brackett and Caleb Brackett.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral

A graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Monday at St. Paul Baptist Church
Cemetery with Rev. Jim Kilby officiating.
