Ocie Lou Ann Holcombe, age 66, of Mooresboro, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

Ocie was born December 6, 1953 in Rutherford County to the late Elvert Harding Burgess and Lucille Ruppe Burgess. She worked as nurse's aide and a laundry attendant for Hillcrest Nursing Home and Rest Well Home for over thirty years. Ocie loved animals and especially her fur babies. She enjoyed watching movies and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Janie Lewis, and Audrey Allmond.

Survivors include a son, two daughters and special friends, Linda Greene, Terry and Sherry Hageman and Barry Babb.

A memorial graveside service was conducted at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020 at the Glenwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr.Terry Hageman officiating.

Memorial donations, to honor Ocie, are requested to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043 or to the Grace of God Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 212, Forest City, NC 28043.
