Mrs. Ollie Lee Walker Davis, 82, of Cherryville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.

Born on July 11, 1943, in McDowell County, Ollie was the daughter of the late Elijah Walter Walker and Ethel Marie Calloway Walker. She spent many years working in retail before her retirement. Ollie found her greatest joy at home, especially tending to her garden, where she spent countless hours nurturing flowers and plants. She also cherished gathering around the table with family and friends, sharing good food, laughter, and treasured memories.

In addition to her parents, Ollie was preceded in death by the love of her life, Carroll Edward Davis, and two sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her six sisters; sixteen nieces and nephews; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly.

A memorial service celebrating Ollie's life will be held at a later date.
