Gaffney -- Paul Eugene Pierce, 69, of 224 Monroe Street, passed away Tuesday, November 28th, 2017, at Mary Black Health System - Gaffney.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Jack and Alice Pierce. Mr. Pierce previously worked in construction and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mr. Pierce are a son, Paul H. Pierce, and two brothers, Larry and Mike Pierce.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by three brothers, Frankie, Terry, and Junior Pierce.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 at 5:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel with Pastor Leroy Hannon officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Paul Pierce Funeral Fund, c/o Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney, 211 E. Frederick St, Gaffney, SC 29340.

The family will be at their respective homes.

The family would also like to thank Susie, one of his nurses in ICU, for the care shown during Paul's time there.
