Cherryville - Mr. Paul Stephens Huffman, 69, of S. Depot Street, passed away
peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at his residence.

Paul was born on March 28, 1949 in Campbell County, Virginia, a son of the
late Clarence Huffman and Mable Robertson Huffman. He worked for Carolina
Freight Carriers Corporation in Cherryville for 18 years and retired as Vice
President of Maintenance from Epes Transport in Greensboro. Paul was a
member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Cherryville, member and Past Master
of Cherryville Masonic Lodge #505 A.F. & A.M. and also a member of the
American Trucking Association and the Technology and Maintenance Council.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Gregory Huffman of the home;
two daughters, Leslie Cook and husband Warren; Heather Mauney and husband
Matt all of Cherryville; five grandchildren, Gregory Bunner (Ashley), Chloe
Baumgardner, Hannah Cook, Sara and Rebecca Mauney.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:45PM at
St. John's Lutheran Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00PM at
St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Ben Kifer officiating.

Burial will be at City Memorial Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
