Pauline Leonhardt Willis, 91, of Hwy. 18 N., Lawndale passed away, Thursday,
November 14, 2019 at Abernethy Laurels in Newton.

Born May 19, 1928 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Evan
Louico Leonhardt and Mittie Novella Hayes Leonhardt. She was retired from
Franks Hosiery Mill and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband
Efird L. Bingham; second husband, J. Hugh Willis, Sr.; four brothers,
Blaine, Evan, Elmer, and Wilford Leonhardt; and a sister, Willie Mae
Hartman.

She is survived by her stepson, Hugh Willis, Jr and wife Debra of Granite
Falls; special niece, Nancy Speagle of Vale; step-grandson, Chris Willis;
and a longtime friend and caregiver, Lucy Phelps.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Zion
Hill Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist
Church with the Rev. Alan Barlow officiating.

The burial will follow in the Laurel Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
