Pearlie Proctor Barrett, 94, of Carpenter's Grove Church Road, Lawndale passed away on March 17, 2025 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

Pearlie was born on July 22, 1930 in Gaston County, NC to the late Robert Proctor and Essie Heavner Proctor. She was retired from Hudson Hosiery and was a member of Carpenter's Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thomas Barrett; two brothers, Calvin Proctor and George Proctor and two sisters, Eloise Stallings and Frances Gantt.

She is survived by three daughters, Sarita Caserta and husband, Charlie of Cary; Bonnie Beam and husband, Phil of Lawndale and Sherry Pruett and husband, Todd of Lawndale; two brothers, Vance Proctor of Lawndale and Floyd Proctor of Lattimore; a sister, Betty Downs of Shelby; six grandchildren, Beth Hancock of Holly Springs, Jennifer Caserta and fiancé, Jonathan Moody of Holly Springs, Krista Caserta of Cary, Jackson Beam of Belwood, Jordan Beam of Miami Beach, Fl and Zachary Pruett and wife, Jenna of Casar and seven great-grandchildren, Gracie Hancock, Kensley Hancock, Jadon Beam, Miriam Thurman, Corinna Beam, Vance Pruett and Weston Moody.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Carpenter's Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Building.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Carpenter's Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Hamrick officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
