Peggie Ann Goforth Holtzclaw, 74, of Circle Drive, Polkville, passed away
Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

She was born in Rutherford County, on December 5, 1940 to the late Nollie
Goforth and Edna Price Goforth. Before Peggie retired she owned and
operated Peggie's Crafts of Shelby, and was a member of Polkville Methodist
Church and Polkville Ruritans Club.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 32
years, Max Lee Holtzclaw; foster brother, Dwight Goforth and foster sister,
Dorothy Shell.

She is survived by her daughter Jewell Ray Holtzclaw and special friend
Nelson Royster of Polkville; and brother, Robert Goforth of Cliffside.

The family would like to thank Peak Resources of Cherryville and friends and
neighbors for the care and love they showed Peggie during her illness.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 PM at Polkville
Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Lovelace officiating. The burial will
follow in the Polkville Baptist Church Cemetery.
