Gaffney - Peggy Lynette Blanton, 64, passed away on July 19, 2026 at 2:32 am at Spartanburg Medical Center in Spartanburg, SC. Mrs. Blanton was born on August 22, 1961 in Gaffney, SC to the late John Thurman and Racheal Gelila McAbee Lewis.

Mrs. Blanton is survived by one son, Charles Shaun Butler; daughter, Shannon Nicole Butler (Amanda Lee); daughter-in-law, Jennifer Barron; brothers, Charles Lewis, Joey Lewis (Kimberly Harrison); sister, Renee Mullinax; grandchildren, Eric Barron, Zackeri Barron, Ashton Butler, Daisha Butler, Star Butler and Kyla Butler; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Butler, Morticai Helms, Colby Barron, Camden Barron, Nyla Epps; nephew and niece, Robert and Leann Lewis; other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, including her great-niece, Casey Mullinax; and her best friends, Melissa Wise and Peggy Hammett.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Sebastian Barron; brother, Robert Wayne Lewis Sr.; and great-nephew, Robert Wayne Lewis III.
