Quillie Lucille Williams Wyte


KINGS MOUNTAIN-Mrs. Quillie Lucille Williams Wyte, 81, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late JT and Avalona Champion Williams. She retired from Mauney Hosiery. Lucille was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church and Church at the Roost in Daniel Boone Camp Ground.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ava Marie Turbyfill; brother, Elmer Williams; sisters, Anna Mae Ware, Linda Carpenter, Corrine Hamrick and Thelma Weaver.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband just shy of 61 years, Jake Wyte; daughters, Louise Wyte Lundy and JoAnn Wyte Yarbro and husband Wayne, all of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Joshua Turbyfill and wife Wendy, Avery Turbyfill and wife Autumn, Jeannie Gerena and husband Angel, and Jim Lundy and wife Annaleah; great-grandchildren, Michael and Austin Brown, Katelynn, Anthony, and Austin Gerena, and happily waiting, Allison Turbyfill; and her precious Littlebit. The family would like to thank the countless nurses and doctors, and a special thanks to all the nurses and volunteers at hospice.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Services will be held Tuesday, 11a.m., at El Bethel United Methodist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Monday, 6:30-8p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.
