Rebecca "Becky" Moss McDaniel, 89, of Shelby, passed away peacefully at Wendover Hospice of Shelby on May 25, 2025.

Born on September 19, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Luther and Winnie Harbin Moss.

Becky was a devoted homemaker who had a passion for cooking, cleaning, and caring for her family. She greatly enjoyed antiquing and collecting with her husband, Naaman. Together, they visited 48 states on various bus trips. Becky cherished corresponding with her Amish friends in Pennsylvania and visiting them. Additionally, she was a respected member of the Golden Girls.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Stuart McDaniel, sister, Sandra Clontz (Chet), and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Naaman McDaniel.

A graveside service will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Kings Mountain Friday, June 6, 2025, at 2:00PM.
