Mr. Toney was preceded in death by his mother Louise Fisher Toney. 

He is survived by his father, Don Toney of Rutherfordton; two brothers, Bruce “Slash” Toney of Rutherfordton, and Victor E. Lovelace of Unions Mills; three sisters, Sandra Sexton of Marshall, AR, Christee Joyce Lovelace of Rutherfordton, and Maresa Lovelace of Lincolnton.
