Richard Thomas Kale, 85, passed away Tuesday August 20, 2024 at Peak Resources in Shelby, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on October 5, 1938 he was the son of the late Walter Howard Kale and Gazzie Mae Wright Kale. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Glenda Kale, three brothers Melvin, Howard and Percy Kale as well as his sister Melba Kale Schaeffer and daughter-in-law Kimberly Harris Kale.

Richard is survived by his three sons, Richard Christian Kale (Jozel) of Shelby, Michael Todd Kale (Dianna) of Hickory, NC, David Anthony Kale of Shelby. Also left to cherish his memory are six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

To honor the life of Richard, the family will hold services privately. Burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby, NC.
