Surrounded by loving family and friends, Ricky Lind Jones, 65, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Jack L. and Virginia Gladden Jones.  Ricky was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church.  He loved his church and church family.  Rick was a Vietnam Veteran service in the Air Force.  Prior to his disability he was employed with the Shelby Plant of PPG Industries, Inc.  Rick loved American Legion Baseball and rarely missed a game.  He also volunteered with the American Legion World Series.

Rick is survived by his sister, Michele Jones Grigg; niece, Nicole Hughes and her husband Greg and their children Mason and Catherine; niece, Kim Grigg; nephew, Scott Grigg and his son Timothy; Aunt and Uncle, Joe and Emma Jo Anthony; and cousin Randy Gladden.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Second Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
