Robert Jeffrey Bowman, 59, of 526 Cleveland Avenue, Kings Mountain, passed
away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System - Cleveland in
Shelby.

Born on December 17, 1958 in Prince George County, MD, he was a son of the
late Joseph Abernathy Bowman, Sr. and Doris Gwendolyn Powell. He was
employed with Crossmark as a supervisor and was a member of Union Baptist
Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by an infant daughter,
Anna Mercier Bowman and a brother, Joseph "Joe" A. Bowman, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Mimi Mercier Bowman; two daughters, Kaki Bowman
of Kings Mountain and Laney Rikard and husband Buddy of Indian Trail;
brother, John Bowman and wife Gloria of Polkville; aunt, Donna Staymate of
Kings Mountain and three grandchildren, Alexis, Cheyanne, and Tatum.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 4:00 PM in the
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Prow officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Mt. Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
