Robert "Robbie" Eugene Fitch passed away Thursday May 6, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland.

Born in Cleveland County on June 15th, 1970, Robbie is preceded in death by his father, Basil

Eugene Fitch. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents,

Robert Lee and Minnie Warren Fitch, maternal grandmother Helen Hoyle, and a special cousin,

Todd Fitch. Robbie never met a stranger. Whether it was at the trade lot on Saturdays, fishing,

gardening or working on his welding, he enjoyed fellowship with his friends and neighbors.

Most of all, he will be remembered for his love of family.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Tammy Cheryl Fitch, three daughters: Nickki (Brian)

Robinson, Ashley (Josh) Hodges, and Megan Fitch. Eight grandchildren, Brian Jr., Ben, Silas

and Clover Robinson, Stella and Porter Hodges, Aiden and Declan Fitch. He is also survived by

his sister, Hope Shaw, brother-in-law and friend Craig Shaw, nieces Hannah Wallace and

Madelyn Shaw, stepmother Mary Daniel, and his father and mother-in-law, Clyde and Rickie

Freeman.

Robbie's Memorial Service will be held 6:00pm, Thursday May 13, 2021 at the Chapel of Cecil
Burton Funeral Home Crematory with Eddie Fitch offering words of encouragement to those in attendance. Our family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 5:00pm-
6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Shriners Hospital or Phoenix Counseling Center of Gastonia.
