Roger "Butch" Clarence Merrill, 59, of 4040 Pleasant Grove Church Rd. Lot 11
in Shelby, passed away Monday February 1, 2016 at home.

Born November 6, 1956 in Coconino County, Arizona, to Julia Merrill Bivens
of West Virginia. He was retired from Technibilt as a welder and was a
member of the Gargoyles Motorcycle Group.

He is survived by his long time companion, Nan Perrigan; son, KC Merrill and
fiancee Brittany Marie Faulkner of Denver; two daughters, Tiffany Flowers
and husband Jeff of Kannapolis, NC and Becky Vasquez and husband Olvin of
Madisonville, KY; two stepdaughters, Sara Buchanan and husband Chris of
Clayton and Melissa Dustin and husband Ronnie of Newton; two sisters, Connie
Bivens and Lisa Bivens both of West Virginia; and one granddaughter, Sabryna
Merrill.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Friday at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Condolences may be made

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Grove
Baptist Church Cemetery.
