Roger Dean Bradley, Sr
Roger Dean Bradley, Sr., 70, of 3623 Harris Creek Road, Lawndale, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Cleveland County on September 16, 1944 to the late Martin Bradley and Ellen Pearson Bradley. He was retired from Doran Textiles after nineteen years of service, and owned and operated Bradley Farms. He was a member of Polkville Baptist Church, and the National Barrel Racing Association North Carolina District 03. Roger truly enjoyed his farming, barrel racing and watching dirt track auto racing.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sons, Tracy Dean Bradley and Timothy Scott Bradley.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Wanda Hoyle Bradley; son, Roger Bradley, Jr. and wife Anita of Shelby; three daughters, Tammy Bridges and husband Darryl of Boiling Springs, Tonya Pruitt and husband Mike of Boiling Springs, and Patricia Seagle and husband Sammy of Lawndale; brother Maynard Bradley and wife Debbie of Shelby; sister, Kay Freeman of Shelby; nine grandchildren, Austin Seagle, Brayden Pruitt, Abbie, Anna, and Aiden Bradley, Cody and Cy Bridges, Anna Razo and Tyler Petty; one great grandchild, Karson Faulkenberry.
