Gaffney - Ronald Cecil Crocker Jr., aka J.R., 47, of Goucher School Road, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Ronald Cecil Crocker Sr., and Dora Hembree Crocker. He was a member of Iron City Church and just celebrated his 5th year of sobriety.

Mr. Crocker is survived by his children, Ashton Tharpe (Blake), Aiden Crocker (Josie), and Tambi Mabry; his grandchild, Hayes Tharpe; his siblings, Roni Xan Blackwell (Rocky) and Lisa Ann Stewart (Jerry); and "Sisters," Kristi Deaton Patterson (Greg) and Erika Patterson (Cliff).

The family will receive friends of Friday, April 3rd, 2026 from 3:00-4:00 pm at Iron City Church, 179 Corry Road, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm at the church with Rev. Ashby Pruitt and Rev. Phillip Martin officiating.
