Ronald Keith Hayes, 71, of 401 N. Morgan Street, Shelby, passed away on May
1, 2018 at White Oak Manor in Shelby.

He was born in Cleveland County on August 31, 1946 to the late Clarence E.
Hayes, Sr. and Hettie Devenny Hayes. He was retired from the NC Department
of Transportation as a truck driver. Ronnie was also a member of Norman's
Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence
Hayes, Jr. and Johnny Hayes and four sisters, Juanita Newton, Elaine
Kitchens, Doris Leodes, and Janette Byrd.

He is survived by his brother, Billy Hayes; longtime friends and
caregivers, Jim and Annette Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank White Oak Manor, Shelby for all the love and
care they gave to Ronnie.

A graveside services will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM at Norman's Grove
Baptst Church with the Rev. Keith Huss officiating.
