Ronnie Lee Chambers
On Monday, August 19, 2024, Minister Ronnie Lee Chambers went to join our Savior in his heavenly home, a home not built with hands, but whose maker and builder is God. Ronnie Lee Chambers was born on December 28, 1953, to the late William L. J. and Lillie Lockhart Chambers. He was converted at an early age and later joined St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church. He served faithfully as a choir member and also led the food ministry. He served in the United States Army and earned an associate degree from Cleveland Technical College. In 1983, he married his loving and caring wife, Ms. Lorenza Carol Littlejohn and together, they have a daughter Ms. Rhonda Chambers. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and always remembered in their hearts. Minister Ronnie retired as an employee of Baldor Company after many years of service. As a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend, he was unsurpassed. As a life richly lived in service and kindness and known for his euphonious voice, Ronnie was a beacon of light and hope in our community, touching lives through song. He sang with several gospel groups. He also managed the Mighty Sons of Faith and was affiliated with JRS Promotions. He leaves to cherish memories his wife Lorenza Carol Chambers; daughters, Rhonda Chambers and Philiahia Wimbush; son, Travis Sloan and daughter in law Shannon; the nephew he called son, Rodrick Littlejohn and his wife, Tara; siblings, William Chambers (the late Janet); Minister Albert Ray Chambers (Angie), Minister Ladonna Brooks (Andrew), Arthur J.
