Ruthie Laverne Mills Shelby- Ruthie Laverne Mills, age 61, of Shelby NC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2015. She was born on February 13, 1954 in Cleveland County to the late Clarence and Helen Mills. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters; Caroll Mills Young and Marguerite Mills and Grandmother, Mertha A. Mills. She is survived by one son, Michael E.
