Blacksburg - Sandra Bolin Risica, 68, of 203 W. Church Street, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.

Born in Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Allen and Mary Cindy Gunn Bolin. She was a member of Mt. Whitaker Baptist Church.

Sandra is survived by her children, Michael Shane Stokes (Tammie), James Allen Stokes (Elizabeth), and Billy Joe Stokes Jr.; her brother, Robert "Rabbit" Bolin; and her grandchild, Roman Stokes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Batchelor, Elaine Fitch, and Gail Thompkins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Mt. Whitaker Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm at the church with Rev. Michael Owen officiating.
