Sandra "Sandi" Ledford Jones, 56, of Lawndale passed away on September 17, 2026 at Wendover Hospice House.

Sandi was born on January 16, 1970 in Cleveland County, to Irene Walker Ledford and the late Billy Vance Ledford.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Jones.

Sandi is survived by her mother, Irene Walker Ledford; three daughters, Sara Westmoreland (Jeremy), Ivy Green (Jonathon) and Laura Green (Shawn); grandchildren, Reagan, Kennedy, Nashville, Memphis, Adam, Olivia, Piper and Riot; brother, Tony Ledford (Marya) and sister, Penny Perdieu (Cecil).

She dedicated her life to caring for others through 20 years of nursing, specifically travel nursing during the covid pandemic.

On top of being an amazing Mama & Yaya, she found her life's passion aboard a cruise ship. If not with her family you could find her "Sailing the seas", attending concerts and truly living life alongside her best friend, Susan.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 1:30pm to 2:45pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 3:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Tyler Peterson officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fallston.
