Sanford Eugene White

Sanford Eugene White died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Southern Retirement Home. Born January 11, 1940, Mr. White was a native of Laurens, SC but spent much of his life in Mauldin, SC. He attended Mauldin High School and graduated from Hillcrest High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force Reserve; and held positions at Cryovac Corporation and Wade Hampton Motel (22 years). He was a true believer in Jesus Christ and was a member at Laurens Road United Methodist Church, during his time in Simpsonville he attended Wade Hampton Baptist Church.
Surviving "Sandy" are two sisters Betty White Brown of Piedmont, SC and Barbara Jean White of Landrum, SC; a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert
White Sr. and Barbara Hall White; one brother also predeceases him, Mr. Charles White Jr.
The family would like to thank the staff of Southern Manor Retirement and Rutherford County North Carolina Hospice for their care and support during Sandy's illness.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
